Follow the directions below and take Exit 64, not Exit 59.
From Asheville:
Take I-40 East out of Asheville. Take Exit 64 for NC-9. Turn left onto NC-9, toward Black Mountain/Montreat.
Go .2 miles to West State Street. Turn left. Go .5 miles to the Monte Vista Hotel on the right.
From Asheville Airport:
Exit Asheville Regional Airport (AVL) onto NC-280 to the left and go about .1 mile to the junction for I-26.
Take I-26 West toward Asheville. Take Exit 31A to merge onto I-40 East toward Hickory. Go about 18 miles to
Exit 64 for NC-9. Turn left onto NC-9, toward Black Mountain/Montreat. Go .2 miles to West State Street.
Turn left. Go .5 miles to the Monte Vista Hotel on the right.
From the Blue Ridge Parkway:
From the Folk Art Center at milepost 382, head west toward Riceville Road and turn left on Riceville Road.
Go about ½ mile and turn left onto US-70/Tunnel Road. Follow US-70 for about 10 miles. It becomes
State Street and the Monte Vista Hotel will be on the left at 308 West State Street.
